Manado Tourism : Tomohon International Flower Festival (TIFF)

Hello! Assalamualaikum. I will share my friend's experience cultural tourism in Manado, exactly in  Tomohon town. She is  Sianturi Ester. She usual called Ester. Ester original of municipal Manado. Unfortunately, I not yet ever meet her, but as is social media not cover possibly for have many friend outside city, right? I and Ester has communicate well during 2 years later on. Even though not ever meet, we always tell and switch experience in spare time. Ester new enter college this year, she take English Literature at Sam Ratulangi University.

According to my friend's story, in Tomohon there is one of the festivals held every year. The name is Tomohon International Flower Festival (TIFF). As the name implies, this festival has a flower theme held in the city of Tomohon. As a flower-producing city, TIFF is a creative forum for flower lovers and industry players related to tourism. Unexpectedly, there were 13 countries and 19 institutions taking part in the flower carnival in Tomohon city. The Tomohon city government held a TIFF event to introduce the city of Tomohon to Indonesia and the world. This year, TIFF also presents Prince and Princess Giorgia and several ambassadors such as Georgia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Bhutan and Japan.

Although the hot sun stung the skin, it did not make the spirit dampen the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the residents, local and foreign tourists to watch the flower parade. The event also invited selected elementary and junior high school students as representatives of female students in the city of Tomohon.

The location of the Tomohon International Flower Festival (TIFF) was held near the airport from Tomohon city, Sam Ratulangi international airport in the city of Manado. The distance of the airport to Tomohon is approximately 1 hour by road.
