Andalas University, Padang after observing the location around the F building of Andalas University, many things can be seen such as students who are gathering to tell their daily lives to one another, the traders who are around the F unand building waiting for customers who want to buy their wares, as well as the lecturers who are teaching in several classes with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm to teach their students. But there is one thing that is very worrying about the location, for example, students who lack attention in maintaining the cleanliness of the surrounding location by hoping to the cleaning staff to clean up the remnants of scattered waste.
As we know and what we see, the accumulation of garbage in the location of building F is very unpleasant to the eye. Moreover for everyone who crossed the road to the building F from the location of the DPR parking lot (under a shady tree). Every person who passes by constantly smells unpleasant. Sometimes there are many students who dispose of garbage in a landfill but when the garbage does not enter the place that has been provided they do not care about it anymore so that it is also one of the factors causing the landfill around the building F's location to appear irregular or cause pollution environment.
When seen further, several people passing around the site of the landfill walked while covering their noses because they could not stand the smell released by polluted garbage. Most people who pass in that location are students who want to study in building F itself.
However, around the front location of building F inhabited by many traders who sell various foods. The merchants also sell not far from the location of the polluted landfill. When they have finished working, the traders always clean up the location where they sell and then dispose of their garbage to the landfill that has been provided. Students and traders seem to have a big impact on creating a clean environment. Because not only traders who dispose of garbage in its place, many of the students also throw trash in the right place. The large trash that has been provided is sometimes full of garbage so that the load is not enough. Even though the trash bin is added, it will not change anything as long as the trash is piled up from day to day so that the garbage comes out of the limit and scattered around the trash itself. The janitor was seen only a few times carrying garbage that had been stacked in the trash that had been provided using a garbage truck. However, the next day and so on, rubbish continues to accumulate at the building site F.
In fact, the location of building F is also not inferior to the location of other buildings at Andalas University. Building F is beautiful and cool. Will it be better if we as occupants of building F and Unand residents to jointly maintain the cleanliness of our own environment to create a more beautiful, comfortable, clean and pleasant atmosphere for all residents of Unand. Because if we don't take care of ourselves, who else? Continuously hoping for cleaners is also very inefficient because the things they face are not only the location of the landfill around building F, but also all locations in Unand or even in Padang itself. Moreover, students must be able to get used to setting a good example as the next generation.
Thus, cleanliness in the surrounding environment is very important to be maintained in order to create a comfortable and beautiful atmosphere. We cannot fully give responsibility to the cleaning staff available to keep the environment clean because it is our shared responsibility. Do not let the beauty of Building F Andalas University become damaged just because of polluted garbage. Let's together we realize the environment we want.
